Today I checked my bank account and saw how wonderful it is to have a real job.

BTW - Brangelina and I have something in common.  We both adopted -- them a boy from Vietnam, and me a girl from El Salvador.

So I'm watching TV and I found out my favorite children's book became a television series on PBS!!!

This guy also wrote:

What's even better than that is almost being finished with school and having the easiest finals I've ever had in my entire life!

Tommy and I randomly went to the Brea mall and saw the two people below from my favorite teenie bopper show.

By the way Tommy waited patiently for me for 1 1/2 hours, because he's awesome.  The wait wasn't because there was a big crowd, but it was so I could interview Cassie Steele for a research paper for a censorship and regulations class on the episode "Accidents Will Happen."  It was so cool, but I didn't bring my camera.

School

Not so fun anymore, but I'm still hearing and meeting some amazing people in the entertainment industry.  But, I'm also listening to a lot of speakers that speak in movie geek jargon.  I don't understand one thing they're talking about.  Sometimes I'll hear familiar words like actors, story or movie, but other than that I have no clue.  My friend and I just decided not to ask questions, because it would lead to millions of other questions, so it is just not worth asking.  My other classmates understands what these guys are talking about, because I have bunch of these guys in my class:

In other news

A 15-year-old was assault at 3 p.m. on Bloomfield.  Just kidding.  A 15-year-old female Cerritos High School student faked an assault, and for a day scared all the strict Asian parents who send their children to Cerritos High School because its safely located across from the sheriff station, city hall and library.  Good one.  But seriously, 3 p.m. on Bloomfield?

Seattle

Last Friday night I left for Seattle and stayed there for less than 24 hours to visit my dad who's working at Boeing's Tukwila site.  I had an interesting flight on my way to meet my dad.  There were tons of opportunities to take pictures of beautiful sunsets, so I did because that man sitting nextt to me who had also order four small bottles of vodka insisted that I should.

Finally, I arrived in Seattle, got some shut eye, and we went to the Space Needle the next morning.

Walking to the car my dad stopped to take more pictures.  That's what he does, but what's interesting about this photo is the monorail system.  Yes that's right a monorail system just like at Disneyland.

We ate at Crab Shack, which has only three locations.  Seattle, Bellevue and Long Beach, CA.  It was so good, or maybe its because Boeing got the tab..  There's a hammer that you use to break the shell of your seafood.  It's fun, except if your seafood flies off the table.  Woops!

After lunch we saw a beautiful and clear Seattle.  It was one of the nicest days Seattle has ever seen, according to my dad.

That concludes my trip to Seattle.

This week I'm going to be having a fun Halloween doing arts and crafts with the kids at CHOC!

School

School has been pretty cool.  The editor, Scott Powell, and Emmy award winning director/producer,

Jon Cassar lectured in MY class!!!  Wow!  My professor filmed a project on the set of 24 for academy to showcase other jobs in entertainment besides producer, director and writer.  http://www.journeysbelowtheline.com/24catalog.htm.  In that class I've also watched full episode of

and NBC's new fall line-up featuring the cast of my favorite shows

which takes up the entire class time.  Plus, she's brought in many more guest speakers, some of which have ties to:

 and .

My teacher for TV Productions at Cerritos College brought in the director of photography for

 and

and spoke about some really technical stuff.  I'm learning how to shoot with an

camera and edit with for my first "reality show"/documentary.

As for my pr class we're working with the Children's Hospital of Orange County to create awareness for them and to bring Halloween festivities to the children in the Oncology Unit.

I now realize how important it is to live in LA or New York if you want to get connectd in the entertainment and communications industry.  This semester is going to be interesting, but good.

Wedding: Darren & Jen

September 23, 2006 Darren Sentani and Jennifer Fujita became Mr. and Mrs.  This is what they look like briskly walking down the aisle as newlyweds.

This is what they look like cutting a cake from behind.

So I never got a picture with their faces with my camera, but I did take many pictures of some of their table decor.

To see their faces go to: http://www.xanga.com/christinejinkim/531996621/yummiest-cake-ever.html

This is going to be an interesting last semester!
